作品解説
軽井沢の障がい者向けに月２回開催されるデザインアートワークショップで制作された新作。ファウンドフォトと自分たちが撮影した写真を大量に用意し、無作為にシールへ印刷。意図が漂白された数百枚のイメージの束から反射的に意味を見出して選択し、ハサミで切り抜き、台紙に貼った上に彩色を施した。ワークショップでは、毎回それぞれの得意を活かせる道具や画材を用意する。彼らの創作は素材を切ったり、貼ったり、色を混ぜたり塗ったりしながら、目の前で変化する現象を「発見する喜び」に純粋に反応し、さらなる創造を繰り返す、単純でありながら深遠な行為。人間に元来備わる創る喜び、そこから生まれる幸せという感情を作品を通して鑑賞者は共有する。
This new work was created during a bi-monthly design and art workshop for people with disabilities in Karuizawa. Hundreds of found photographs and self-taken images were printed randomly onto stickers. With no set theme or direction, participants intuitively found meaning in this collection—selecting, cutting, and pasting the images onto mounting paper, then adding color.
Each session is equipped with tools and materials tailored to the individual strengths of each participant. Their creative process—cutting, pasting, mixing, and adding color—is simple, yet deeply meaningful. It is driven by the joy of discovery, as they respond intuitively to the ever-changing images before them. Through this repeated act of making, the works embody a universal human joy in creation and the quiet happiness it brings—a feeling gently conveyed to viewers through the finished pieces.

一般社団法人konst（コンスト）は, 障がい者の“得意”を美の源泉とする, 福祉とデザインのアトリエ。新しい創作レシピを日々考えながら, 全国の創作現場をデザインする集団として活動する。ワークショップには軽井沢を中心とした約30名の障がい者が集まり、複数のクリエイターが一枚の作品を共同で制作。ある人はシールを貼る行為に没頭し、ある人は写真から新しい物語を紡ぎ、ある人は模様を描くように彩色し、様々な思惑が交差しながら作品が生まれる。
Konst is a general incorporated association that functions as both a welfare and design atelier, where the unique strengths of people with disabilities are embraced as sources of beauty. Constantly developing new creative “recipes,” Konst operates as a collective that designs inclusive creative spaces throughout Japan. Around 30 individuals with disabilities from the Karuizawa area regularly take part in the workshops, working alongside multiple creators to collaboratively produce artworks. One person may become absorbed in placing stickers, another might weave new stories from photographs, while someone else adds color in rhythmic, pattern-like gestures. From this blend of diverse expressions and intentions, new works take shape.
